“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spinewhere bloggers can rant and rave about any upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating. For my addition, I will be spotlighting an upcoming book AND sometimes I will throw in a video game release that I am dying to get my hands on!
This week in WoW, we’re talking abdominals and boys that will make you sweat. It’s no secret; I have a girl crush on Gena Showalter. She’s like hot lava simmering in my veins and each novel she writes gets steamier, sexier and even more delectable. So of course she’s included in this week’s OMG-MUST-HAVE-HOT-MAN edition! Check out the other authors who made my list!
Having endured weeks of torture in the bowels of hell, Kane wants nothing to do with his beautiful rescuer, Josephina Aisling. The half-Fae female threatens to awaken the demon of Disaster inside him—a beast he’s determined to kill, no matter the price.
Josephina is hunted by a brutal enemy—her royal family—and Kane is her only source of protection. He’s also the only male to ever set her aflame, and even he succumbs to the heat. But as they navigate the treacherous world of the Fae, they are forced to make a choice: live apart…or die together.
I WANT THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The Lords are scrumptious, sweet, and oh-so swoon worthy. They are alpha males any woman would be lucky to get their hands on. July is too freaking long to wait for Kane. *Dies*
Bordertown private investigator Luke Oliver’s beat is the dimensional fold in Manhattan between the human and supernatural realms. But now a secret from his past—the League of the Black Swan—has surfaced. Because Luke isn’t any ordinary P.I. He’s the Dark Wizard of Bordertown, and he never backs down from a fight.
But this time the fight threatens his life and his heart. Rio Jones, the only woman he loved, needs his help against a deadly menace. Luke pushed her away once before, so she’d never fall prey to the curse that threatens to destroy him. He swore he’d never let her go again.
Luke and Rio, with the help of the newly reformed League, must keep evil forces from taking over Bordertown—all the while battling a passion on the razor’s edge between danger and desire. And going to take everything they have just to stay alive.
This novel looks dangerous, sexy, and totally kick a$$. Anything bordering the fine line of danger and desire is definitely a must-read in my opinion.
Qhuinn, son of no one, is used to being on his own. Disavowed from his bloodline, shunned by the aristocracy, he has finally found an identity as one of the most brutal fighters in the war against the Lessening Society. But his life is not complete. Even as the prospect of having a family of his own seems to be within reach, he is empty on the inside, his heart given to another….
Blay, after years of unrequited love, has moved on from his feelings for Qhuinn. And it’s about time: The male has found his perfect match in a Chosen female, and they are going to have a young—just as Qhuinn has always wanted for himself. It’s hard to see the new couple together, but building your life around a pipe dream is just a heartbreak waiting to happen. As he’s learned firsthand.
Fate seems to have taken these vampire soldiers in different directions… but as the battle over the race’s throne intensifies, and new players on the scene in Caldwell create mortal danger for the Brotherhood, Qhuinn finally learns the true definition of courage, and two hearts who are meant to be together… finally become one.
Okay I must admit, this is a series that fell to the wayside for me because of my huge TBR pile. I know, I know, I must catch up. Lord knows I want to dive back into this world of edible vamps, the first one had me so hooked I read it four times. So I am making a vow, to read them all this summer. Hold me to my word internet!
So what about you? What games or books are you waiting on?
