“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine where bloggers can rant and rave about any upcoming releases that we are eagerly anticipating. For my addition, I will be spotlighting an upcoming book AND sometimes I will throw in a video game release that I am dying to get my hands on!
This week in WoW, we’re talking about books I’m dying to read because of their AMAZING covers! Yup, without even reading the blurbs, I want to sink my teeth into these three novels. Check out my picks this week!
Book I Want To Read Because of Their Epic Covers!
Title: Eat, Brains, Love
Author: Jeff Hart
Publisher: HarperCollins Publishers
Publication date: 10/1/2013
Pages: 352
Sadly, there is no overview for this novel yet. However, based on the cover alone, I will gladly read Eat, Brains, Love without knowing a thing about it. I mean seriously, look at that cover. Don’t you want to read it? Tell me you’re not craving it? Yeah, me too.

Title: The Oathbreaker’s Shadow (The Knots Sequence #1)
Author: Amy McCulloch
Publisher: Random House Children’s Publishers
Publication date: 06/4/2013
Pages: 416
Fifteen-year-old Raim lives in a world where you tie a knot for every promise that you make. Break that promise and you are scarred for life, and cast out into the desert.
Raim has worn a simple knot around his wrist for as long as he can remember. No one knows where it came from, and which promise of his it symbolises, but he barely thinks about it at all—not since becoming the most promising young fighter ever to train for the elite Yun guard. But on the most important day of his life, when he binds his life to his best friend (and future king) Khareh, the string bursts into flames and sears a dark mark into his skin.
Scarred now as an oath-breaker, Raim has two options: run, or be killed.
A gripping YA action-adventure fantasy, the first part of a planned duology.
What drew me to even read the blurb is this amazing cover! It looks completely bad a$$ and held my attention for way longer than a minute. Then after reading the overview, I must admit I’m now even more intrigued and dying to get my hands on a copy. It sounds like the perfect kick-butt fantasy to bring me out of my romantic reading drought. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Title: White Trash Zombie Apocalypse (White Trash Zombie #3)
Author: Diana Rowland
Publisher: DAW
Publication date: 7/2/2013
Pages: 320
Lights, cameras… zombies!
When a zombie movie starts filming in town, things get crazy, and white trash zombie Angel Crawford suspects it’s not just the plot of the movie that’s rotten. With zombies both real and fake roaming the streets, it’s up to Angel to fit all the pieces — and body parts — together to save herself, her town, and quite possibly the human race.
Okay I must admit I have not read this series. However, White Trash Zombie has some of the coolest covers I’ve ever seen. I seriously need to start on this ASAP. I love zombies, and I love strong heroines. This seems like a naturally perfect fit. Yup, it’s going on my TBR pile.
So what about you? What games or books are you waiting on?
