Welcome to the June edition of My Monthly Mailbox, a new feature to replace the old In My Mailbox! Each month I will showcase the books, swag, games and other goodies I receive, win or purchase. By doing this feature monthly, I hope to give everyone a glimpse into what reviews they can expect coming up on the blog, books I receive for future giveaways, things I’ve unexpectedly won, and games that I am currently playing!

 

 

June was full of craziness! I went on a very, very, very relaxing vacation to Las Vegas and actually took a week off from blogging. This month I tried really, really hard not to purchase any books. However, we all know much of a struggle that can be to a book addict! So I did end up getting two books from Audible.com, Grave Mercy and Shatter Me. I’ve already finished Shatter Me and will have the review up soon, and if you haven’t read it, I highly recommend going the audiobook route as it was such an amazing story to listen to! So check out the books on Goodreads and add them to your shelf.

Well, sometimes you just have to take a break from blogging and reading and dive into a game in order to relieve stress. And this month that is exactly what I did. When I saw LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 on sale at Game Stop I had to have it! I loved, loved, loved, Years 1-4 and have been having a ton of fun playing this one also. If you like LEGO games or if you are just looking for something that will bring you hours – and endless hours – of entertainment then you should definitely pick it up!
