Valentine’s Superlatives: Favorite Bookish Couples
Happy Valentine’s Day MGW family!
Today, I thought it best to honor my bookish loves the best way I know how, with a list of superlatives. Some book couples are timeless, some are full of spunk and cunning, while others did not get their happily ever after. Here is a list of my highs — and lows — of romance in the book world.
Till Death Do They Part:
This couple fought to the death, literally, just to get their happily ever after. Rhysand and Feyre may your reign be a long and peaceful one.
Not So Happily Ever After:
The couple that made me cry real tears at the end of the trilogy. Deven and Kalinda my heart sighs for you.
The Couple that Almost Never Was:
This one was such a slow burn I couldn’t stand the torture! Magnus and Cleo….gah!
See my review of Rebel Spring, my favorite in the Falling Kingdoms Series.
The Couple that Had to Find Out The True Meaning of Love:
As you all know, or should know by this point, Warner is my everything. The perfect tortured hero who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty or go after what he wants. Juliette and Warner better have a happily ever after in Restore Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See my reviews for the Shatter Me series.
Favorite Contemporary Couple:
Layken and Will from the Slammed Series have got to be the most swoon worthy contemporary couple. Not only do they share in each other’s strengths and happiness, but also in their weakness, trials, and tribulations. Their lives may have had a rough start, but they loved each other through it all.

Favorite Will quote:
She laughs. “I can tell. You can’t keep your mouth off it. Most guys prefer the ass or the boobs. Will Cooper prefers the neck.”
I shake my head, disagreeing with her while I continue running my lips across her incredibly smooth skin. “Nope,” I say. “Will Cooper prefers the whole Lake.” – Lake and Will
That’s it for my favorite bookish couples. No, this isn’t a complete list but it does represent some of the best characters in the YA/NA world. Who is your favorite bookish couple?
