With an on-the-go lifestyle and a 4 year-old daughter in several summer activities, I’ve been thanking my lucky stars every day for my new Acer Tablet! Smaller than my iPad, easily portable and able to do almost everything my laptop does, my tablet and I have been getting a lot done this summer.

Right out of the box I fell in love with this little guy. I must admit I was very skeptical about owing an android device. In my household we are big Apple fangirls and I assumed there would be a bit of a learning curve – or unwanted adjustments – trying to figure out how to use the Acer Iconia A1-830. But to my surprise this tablet has been one of the easiest gadgets to navigate and learn. I was also immediately impressed by the Android Marketplace or Google Play store and how it was already set up to connect to my Amazon account! Being the busy blogger that I am, I am constantly searching Amazon for books and other things to make my life easier (plus a little retail therapy), and I was ecstatic to see how well Amazon was integrated into the Acer. Not sure if this is great for my book buying habit but it sure is awesome for looking things up and recommendations.

So with all that being said, what am I doing with my Acer this summer… a lot!

My tablet is always around while I’m working on my blog…

My Acer is always up in front of me while blogging. Whether I’m reviewing my calendar, researching a book or taking pictures for my blog, the Acer is there for it all.

I love curling up with my tablet and a good book…

As I mentioned earlier I do own a few other devices, iPad, Kindle HDX and Nook. All are great by the way but there is something about my Acer with its smaller size and ability to do most everything thing I need that makes me keep coming back to it over the others. I’ve also come to realize there are certain things I want to do on my iPad and there are certain things I rather do on the smaller Acer.

Just enough nerd flair to keep me satisfied…

As for the rest of the summer, I’m looking forward to gaming on my tablet and taking more pictures for both of my blogs, M/G/W and Lasers N Lipstick.

Do you have a tablet? iPad, Kindle or Nook? How do you use your tablet?
