April 2014 Block Review:

Well, thank goodness my box arrived in one piece this time! Improvement y’all, big improvement.

KRE-O Transformers Ultimate Kreon Collection:

$8.49 @ Amazon

Product Description From Amazon:
Build your own Transformers army with the Ultimate Kreon Collection! This pack includes 4 Autobot Kreon figures and 1 mystery figure for the Transformers adventures you build (KRE-O building sets sold separately). Your Bumblebee, Red Alert, Mirage and Autobot Jazz figures will take on their Decepticon enemies (other figures sold separately). But will the mystery figure be an Autobot or an evil Decepticon? There’s only one way to find out! Arm them all with their weapons and start the Transformers adventures!

I have not opened this little package of Transformers yet but it seems super cute. They will definitely get a spot on the game room shelf.

NECA Scalers Predator:

~5.99 to $10

Product Specifications From Think Geek:
  • Tiny figurines hang on to your cords and cables
  • Officially-licensed figurines
  • Choose Freddy, Gizmo, Gollum, Jason, Predator, or Xenomorph
  • Works best on headphone cables and other small cords – not cords the size of power cables
  • Dimensions: 2″ tall

When I first saw this Predator figure my initial reaction was cool. Then, when I read that I can hook it on most electronic cords I thought, ‘holy frak yeah!”.

Avengers GrabZags Mystery Bag:

Um, I could have done without this. Seemed kind of useless and I’m more than likely going to give it to my daughter. I love Marvel but not this item. Blah…

Rabbids Travel in Time

Rabbids Travel in Time

Raving Rabbids  is a video game franchise spin off from the Rayman series. I didn’t play much Rayman but this little guy was too cute not to love.

Bravest Warriors Danny Vasquez Bendie Figure:

Ha what do ya know, another Bravest Warriors figure. If you recall, my February Loot Crate was Warrior Themed and featured some great Bravest Warrior items.

Spider Bites T-Shirt:

Last but always the best…THE SHIRT! Okay, I LOATHE Spider-Man, with a passion, no joke. But this shirt is super cute and I definitely see myself wearing it. I’ve already worn my previous Nerd Block shirt and if you are going to invest in a Nerd Block please be aware that the shirts are true to size. I ordered a female form fitted medium. It fits to my curves like a glove. So, if you are bigger in some areas (like the chest) you might want to go a size up, don’t get the fitted shirt, or get the unisex fit.

Verdict: Okay, I really liked this Nerd Block, but for some reason, I seem to be enjoying my Loot Crates more. However, I think the best part about Nerd Block is that you get a shirt EVERY month. I think my issues with it though seem to stem from the fact that Nerd Block doesn’t have a central “theme” each month which is what I LOVE about Loot Crate. All in all though, I will continue to subscribe for a couple more months to see if it gets better. *fingers crossed for the HALO figures*
