Hey community, hope everyone has finally recovered from the incredible launch of Gears of War 3. Hum…I bet if you are like me then you are probably still continuously kicking tail and running through horde likes it’s a piece of cake. If you have still not purchased your copy of Gears of War 3, truth be told, someone should smack you (yes I’m talking to you stragglers). I know, I know, I am usually against bandwagons and whatnot but I must admit Gears of War 3 is everything people claim it to be. Uncharted 3 Bundle
Most of you know that I do not own a PS3 (wait for it, wait for it). Okay now that you have stopped yelling at me maybe I can gain back some points by showing some love to the system. Last week, Sony announced that they are going to have an Uncharted 3/PS3 bundle complete with a free month of PlayStation Plus. But I haven’t even gotten to the best part yet, you can be the proud owner of all this yummy goodness for the low price of 299.99. Yes, you heard me correctly, and I must admit it’s a deal that for a gamer like me, is too enticing to pass up. So, I just added the bundle to my pre-Christmas list and I can’t wait to get my hands on Uncharted 3. Oh what a good Christmas it will be.
Microsoft Reverses Recent Bans
Due to a recent software mistake, Microsoft banned some of its users during August 29 and September 9. According to Stephen Toulouse, Xbox Live’s Director of Policy and Enforcement, during an interview with Joystiq,
“We know exactly who was impacted. This is a tiny fraction of the overall user base. This is not some widespread problem. If your console was suspended between the dates, the quickest way to find out if you were impacted by the software issue is to simply reconnect your console. If you can log in, you were impacted by the issue and we’ve unsuspended the console.”
For those who were affected Microsoft is giving them three free months of Xbox Live and 1600 Microsoft Points ($20) for the hassle. I guess there is not much to complain about with this mix up…right?
New Batman Arkham City Joker Trailer
You can never have too much of the Joker. After all, he is one of the most recognizable Batman villains with his creepy smile and twisted laugh. And what better way to shake up the cape crusaders world than by introducing an insane psychopath. Players are guaranteed to revel in the Joker’s badassness (if that’s a word), in the upcoming Batman Arkham City game releasing this October.
So what do you guys think….Arkham City, Battlefield or Modern Warfare 3?
